Our team consists of PhD Researchers and industry professionals who are passionate about sustainability. Our research covers a wide range of topics including:

• Building for People: Every design is created with people as its centre. It is critical to design a built environment that sustains a healthy and productive population.

  We conduct field-based as well as desktop research that bridges the gap between expectations and performance. Think in terms of Liveability, well-being design, occupant productivity, occupant-centric design and Indoor environmental quality (air quality, thermal comfort, lighting, acoustic and space).

  Building for Environment: Built environment is one of the major contributors to greenhouse gases. It becomes important to design buildings that have no or low impact on the environment.

  We develop educational content and conduct research to make zero impact development a possibility. Some of the topics include Sustainable buildings, Sustainable design, green buildings, energy efficiency, embodied energy, life cycle analysis, waste management and circular economy.

  Building for Future: We believe the future of the built environment is green and healthy, we constantly research for strategies that can help us transition from a carbon-based development to a natural one. Think along the line of Climate Change studies, Biophilic design, Circular Economy, Urban Heat Island Effect and Temperature mapping.
